Exciting opportunity for a self-employed part time member of the team to generate sales leads.  Due to warehouse expansion we are looking for a Lead Generator.   We are a third-party logistics provider based in Hampshire who specialise in order fulfilment and storage and we have a professional yet relaxed working environment.

As a Lead Generator, you will be working within 1 major sector and carrying out a preliminary fact find. After completion, you will then pass this information on to the Managing Director for review, you will then either make contact with the customer or potentially make the call alongside the MD.

As a successful Lead Generator, you will be enthusiastic on the phone and have the ability to build a rapport very quickly.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Contact prospective new Clients, book appointments for site/customer visits.
  • Market direction, cosmetic raw material/personal care market.
  • Conduct a first stage fact find to identify core details on the prospective client and filter out inappropriate leads for the Business.
  • Record and monitor calls made and produce reports to demonstrate effort and success rate.
  • An understanding of Southern Storage & Transport’s services and direction is fundamental along with developing an understanding of our competitors.
  • To respond to inbound calls or internal referrals with the aim of booking appointment for the MD.
  • Identify Opportunities, quantify leads.
  • Develop new ideas and employ a problem-solving attitude to the role.

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to achieve KPIs, with experience in a similar sales-based role.
  • Excellent listening skills to identify openings.
  • Ability to sell at all levels of the business.
  • Excellent/confident & professional telephone skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Effective communications skills both verbal and written.
  • Hours to be negotiated.
  • Pay to be negotiated.
